Estrellita en la Casa is an accelerated, systematic, explicit reading program that provides children with the tools necessary to decode beginning reading material in Spanish. The reading materials provide a strong foundation in phonics and phonemic awareness and then progress to skills in vocabulary, comprehension and fluency. The program promotes parental involvement in children's learning.
