From the Classrooms, to your house

Estrellita has been one of the most trusted and effective programs to provide a strong foundation in early Spanish literacy throughout the classrooms in the United States for over 40 years. Now, with Estrellita en la Casa, children at home can benefit from the same Estrellita curriculum that has helped thousands of students enter the world of literacy.

As a valued educator, we would like to invite you to be one of the first to explore our new Estrellita en la Casa program.

The Estrellita Difference

Creating a strong foundation in early literacy, starting with a child’s first language, helps them become more confident, developing key skills that will support their success in English and other subjects.

These first reading skills that children gain as they learn to decode words become a valuable base for future learning and can be applied across other languages and subjects later in life.

  • Program created and developed by teachers

Why does Estrellita en la Casa Work?

For over 30 years, the Estrellita methodology has been a key tool for teaching beginning reading in Spanish in thousands of classrooms across the country. Now, with Estrellita en la Casa, children can become readers at home, applying the same principles that have been successfully developed and refined through years of experience.

Proven Results

Studies in schools and districts with bilingual programs show that children who learn to read through the Estrellita program in primary grades perform better on English reading tests. This suggests that a strong foundation in Spanish literacy can positively affect their English reading skills as well.
